LOVELY WORDS
My good friend, Camille, wrote a lovely post on her blog today. It made me smile.
Myra Johnson, Moi and Camille Eide stirring up trouble at Mt. Hermon last year.
I'm glad it made you smile, Carla. It just occurred to me today how many times I used the word "love" in that post...counting the title it shows up ten times.
Judging by the title of this post, either you caught that much quicker than I did, or repitition of a word really does have subliminal suggestive power.
Myra, I sure had a great time hanging with you lovely ladies. Thank you.
I just read about your contract on Camille's blog and stopped by to say "congratulations!".
Also, I love seeing my friends and fellow writers in "real" pictures, as in the one above. I'm used to the teeny tiny blog pictures. I think the 3-D appearance of real writers at conferences will shock me (and delight me, too!) ;)
Thanks, Gwen! Conferences are great for meeting new people and seeing those you only see once or twice a year--not to mention the rich learning environment.
I believe in Jesus, doing the right thing, the power of the written word, and a good cup of coffee. Being married to my best friend is one of life's sweetest blessings. Thank you for coming along on my writing journey. I'll be here as oft as I can.
Live well. That's my wish for you.
